Alpha Course – Fully Booked!

The next Alpha Course begins on Thursday 16th September 2010 and takes place at the Stables starting at 7pm with a meal. It would help us if you would register your intention to come and indicate whether you have any dietary requirements.
For those who have never done an Alpha Course before, it is a ten week journey through aspects of the Christian Faith, looking at who Jesus is, what faith is, what the Bible is and what prayer does. Does God Heal today, and does He guide? What about the Holy Spirit and the Church? These sessions will take place weekly. However, there will be a two week break during the October school holidays.
A typical night starts with a meal followed by a presentation of the theme and then an opportunity to discuss and explore further what it might mean. It’s conducted in an informal and friendly atmosphere where it is okay to ask any questions. Check out the Alpha website for more information.
We also have a weekend away to take more time to relax and reflect on what we have been considering about faith. Details will be given on the first night, and it is scheduled for 14th – 16th November.
