Praise Breakfast
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10: 23-25.
The “Men of all Ages” hosted an “Area Breakfast” on Saturday the 24th April at the church complex and “boy” what a morning! Of the forty or so men who were there, 8 different fellowships were represented. The morning was entitled “Men’s Song’s of Praise”, and, with well loved songs and hymns, wonderful readings and open prayer times, we were able to be open and rejoice in celebrating our trust and love for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Special mentions? It has to be for the two chefs for the morning, John Mackay and big Geordie Charles. Thanks also to Irene Pace for leading us in worship, and to Charlie Shepherd for conducting and guiding us throughout the morning. Our gratitude also goes to all the others of the team who organise these area events, for they played a major part in the praise morning making it a truly uplifting morning.
Someone there for the first time commented that he “hadn’t realised how good it was to come to a local meeting and feel completely free to worship, especially among so many men doing the same”.

The Area Breakfast was a truly great event. The readings were thought provoking and I’m sure that the praise was pleasing to God. It was also good to see the Gypes living up to their well earned name.
Thanks to the MOAA Team for a wonderful morning.
Blessings
