A House Group is exactly this – it is a group of individuals who meet in a house. However it is more than just a social gathering. We meet to encourage study of the Bible or a particular theme with a Christian content, pray for the needs of any of its members and others in need.
Each group, which is comprised of about eight persons, has a leader. The leader’s role is to “manage” their time together. He or she will lead the study, ensuring that all have the opportunity to make known their comments or questions. The leader is not there to teach but rather to “control” proceedings.
Meetings are conducted on an informal basis in a comfortable and non-threatening atmospehere. Being part of a House Group is an ideal way to learn and to grow in faith.
