2) RELATIONSHIPS (Prov. 27:14-16) Consideration
“teach the righteous…” (Romans 1:16-17)

  1. Once again, Bruce takes us to Gods living word and with the Holy Spirit guides us to a deeper understanding of our Christian life.
When we accepted that Christ died for our sins we started on a pathway to a closer walk with God.
As when we learned to count 1+1=2 that was just a beginning also the alphabet letters become words , then sentences!
So with our Christian lives we too must learn.
Bruce takes us through this sermon how we can learn and grow in Gods wisdom for us.
We that have a few gray hairs Have sat and listened to many sermons, some by our ministers that have stood here over the years, some by our own members in our congregation also by visiting preachers.
Have we grown in wisdom of our Christian Faith?
    Responsibilities
    Relationships
    Reliability.
As we welcome our new minister let us take on Gods message to us.
    Bruce then takes us further!
Bruce tells us of his family butcher how he sharpened his knives!
How by drawing the two surfaces together the knife becomes sharper.
Have we become blunt in our Christian life? Or do we want a sharper edge to our Christian walk with God?
Ourselves and our new minister are those two surfaces. By putting our two surfaces together we both become sharper instruments for Gods work.
Caution as the butcher brought the two surfaces together he did it gently! No sparks flew off the two surfaces. Just a light touch was all that was needed.
    That light touch?
Is Gods love grace and peace we can extend to Jonny and ML
